Olivier Giroud: 'Ian Holloway exit could change Crystal Palace's form'

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud believes that the exit of Crystal Palace's manager Ian Holloway could help the team turn around their form.

Olivier Giroud has said that Ian Holloway's departure from Crystal Palace could provide the club's form with an "electric shock".

The manager left the side, who currently sit 19th in the table, by mutual consent following Monday's 4-1 Premier League defeat to Fulham.

The Gunners striker told the team's website: "I think [it could provide them] with a shock, an electric shock that you need to change something when the results are bad but that is Crystal Palace's problem.

"I will stay focused on my team and our game, we need to bounce back and we want to do it on Saturday.

"We need to win to stay top of the league and after that we want to bounce back in Europe away at Dortmund."

Arsenal face Palace at Selhurst Park tomorrow lunchtime.
