Mathieu Flamini happy with international break

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini believes that the international break has come at the right time for the Premier League leaders.

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has claimed that the international break has come at a good time for his side.

The Gunners are currently at the top of the Premier League table following Sunday's 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion.

"I think it comes at a really good time because we have played a lot," he told the club's official website.

"Obviously everybody is tired physically and tired mentally because you have to give 200% in every single game.

"For us it is a chance to have players coming back into the group like maybe Theo [Walcott] and Santi [Cazorla]. I hope everyone will be back soon."

Arsenal continue their league campaign on October 19 when they welcome Norwich City to the Emirates Stadium.
