Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is reportedly to be rewarded with a pay rise after a number of star performances for Arsenal this season.
The Gunners plan to double the player's wages, funded by a summer exodus of fringe players, according to The Mirror.
Denilson, who was replaced as Arsenal's number 15 by Oxlade-Chamberlain, is one of the players expected to head for the exit along with Manuel Almunia, Nicklas Bendtner, Carlos Vela, Andrey Arshavin, Sebastien Squillaci and Marouane Chamakh, as the club looks to cut their wage bill.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is reported to have been on an initial £17,000 a week since his move from Southampton last summer, but could be offered a new contract worth up to £35,000 a week.
The winger has scored four goals in 20 appearances for the North London outfit this season and has earned praise from several of the club's first-team players.
