Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta praises opposite number Yaya Toure of Manchester City ahead of their Premier League meeting this afternoon.

Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta has praised Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure ahead of the two sides' Premier League meeting this afternoon.

While hailing the strength of City's squad, Arteta specifically picked out Toure as one of the biggest threats to the Gunners.

"[Toure] holds you and turns you and that's the last thing you need to do," said the Spaniard.

"You need to play your position but not just let him play. It will be demanding but I'm sure they will be aware of us as well.

"For me, he's one of the best midfielders in Europe."

The two teams enter this afternoon's encounter on eight points and victory for either would see them rise to second in the table, two points adrift of Chelsea.
