Mikel Arteta hails "unique" Theo Walcott

Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta says that Theo Walcott's return from injury will provide a huge boost to the club.

Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has spoken of his delight at having Theo Walcott back in the squad following his injury layoff.

The 25-year-old made his first appearance for the Gunners since January in the club's 3-0 win against Burnley at the weekend.

"Theo is a unique player," Arsenal's official website quotes Arteta as saying. "He has been here a long time and he is a player who gives us something very, very different.

"Theo has been tremendous in the last few seasons so to get a player like him back after such a long time can only be a positive for us."

Arsenal are next in action when they face Anderlecht in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
