Arsene Wenger: 'I have had offers'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he has had offers from other clubs ahead of his impending exit from the Gunners.

Wenger's 22-year reign in North London will come to an end on Sunday when his Arsenal side take on Huddersfield Town in their final game of the season, but the Frenchman has insisted that he has no plans to retire.

There is understood to be interest in the 68-year-old from the MLS and Chinese Super League, while the likes of Everton and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the veteran.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Leicester City, Wenger confirmed that he has had offers before adding: "More than I expected. I want to work well until the last day of my contract and then I will think about it. I will be active. My brain demands work."

Meanwhile, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri remains the favourite to succeed Wenger at Arsenal.
