Arsenal have released a statement confirming that this evening's Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Emirates is due to go ahead as planned.
Snow has been battering the UK over the last few days, and conditions are expected to worsen as Storm Emma is due to meet the 'beast of the east'.
Many lower-league football matches have been affected by the weather, and questions have been raised over the encounter between Arsenal and City.
However, the North London outfit have released an update confirming that at this time, the 7.45pm kickoff will not be disrupted.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Thursday night's match against Manchester City at Emirates Stadium is scheduled to go ahead as planned. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and work with local agencies but, unless there is a further announcement, the match is on."
Arsenal will have an opportunity to seek revenge following last weekend's EFL Cup final defeat to City.
