Arsenal injury, suspension list and return dates ahead of West Ham United: Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu

Defensive duo to miss out: Arsenal injury, suspension list for West Ham clash

Arsenal return to action on Saturday evening when they square off against West Ham United in the Premier League.

The Gunners make the short trip to the East side of the capital having recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory at Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League.

With eight goals having been netted in their two fixtures since the November international break, Mikel Arteta will be confident that his side can improve on their current fourth position in the Premier League table heading into December.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with West Ham, who are on a high after their surprise 2-0 win at Newcastle United earlier this week.

Ben White

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

White underwent an operation to address a long-standing knee problem over the international break, and Arteta has admitted that it will be a number of months before the English defender can return to action.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Tomiyasu is struggling to make headway in his recovery from a new knee injury, and he will now spend a few weeks away from North London in the hope of improving his physical state.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Knock Possible return date: November 30 (vs. West Ham)

Arsenal were dealt a blow during the closing stages against Sporting after Gabriel was forced off with what Arteta described as "discomfort". It remains to be seen whether the centre-back will be available for Saturday's encounter.
