Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion.

Arsenal will be looking to make it three Premier League victories in a row when they continue their 2020-21 campaign away to West Bromwich Albion on January 2.

The Gunners have eased the pressure on head coach Mikel Arteta courtesy of two straight wins over Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion.

The capital outfit have now moved into 13th spot in the table, nine points behind fourth-placed Everton, although the Toffees have a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with West Brom, who are currently 19th in the division.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: January 9 (vs. Newcastle United)

Having tested positive for coronavirus, Gabriel Magalhaes will again be unavailable for selection against West Brom. In theory, the summer arrival could feature against Newcastle United on January 9 although much depends on how quickly he recovers from the illness.

Willian

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: January 2 (vs. West Brom)

Willian has missed Arsenal's last three matches in all competitions through illness, but the Brazilian is due to return to training on Thursday and could be available for the clash with West Brom.

David Luiz

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: January 2 (vs. West Brom)

Like, Willian, Luiz has tested negative for coronavirus, but the Brazilian has recently been feeling unwell. The centre-back has been absent since the defeat at Everton on December 19, although he could be available to make his return against the struggling Baggies.

Thomas Partey

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: January 9 (vs. Newcastle United)

Thomas Partey picked up a thigh injury on his return to action against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month. The summer arrival will again miss out against West Brom, but he could be fit for the FA Cup clash with Newcastle on January 9.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for the Premier League match.
