Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Norwich City

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League fixture with Norwich City.

Arsenal face Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon having made the decision to part ways with manager Unai Emery.

On Thursday night, the Gunners succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League, a result which represented their seventh match without a win in all competitions.

Ahead of the trip to Carrow Road, Freddie Ljungberg has been placed in charge on an interim basis, with the Swede looking to stake his claim to be handed the reins until at least the end of the season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for the North Londoners ahead of this fixture.

Dani Ceballos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 21 (vs. Everton)

After sustaining a thigh injury while on international duty with Spain, Ceballos has been ruled out until at least the middle of December.

Sead Kolasinac

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 1 (vs. Norwich)

Kolasinac also picked up an injury while on international duty, with a thigh problem keeping the Bosnia-Herzegovina international out for the last two matches. However, the left-sided defender could return for the trip to Carrow Road.

Rob Holding

Possible return date: December 1 (vs. Norwich City)

Holding has recently sustained a minor knee problem. Having only recently returned from nine months out due to an injury in the same area, no risks will be taken with his fitness.

Hector Bellerin

While Bellerin missed out against Frankfurt on Thursday night with a tight hamstring, the right-back could return for the visit to Norwich.

David Luiz

Possible return date: December 1 (vs. Norwich)

Luiz needed to be withdrawn with a chest injury during the first half against Frankfurt. While the issue is only said to be minor, the Brazilian may not be risked on Sunday.

Shkodran Mustafi

Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: December 1 (vs. Norwich)

Like Luiz, Mustafi was substituted with an injury against Frankfurt, with the German sustaining a knock during the closing stages. At this stage, it is unclear whether the defender will recover in time for the next fixture.
