Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leeds United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Leeds United.

Arsenal will aim to make it seven wins on the trot in all competitions when they travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners ended their hoodoo against Liverpool to win 3-2 in a blockbuster Premier League encounter last weekend, keeping them one point clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.

Mikel Arteta's side travelled to Bodo/Glimt in midweek aiming to end the Norwegian champions' 14-game European winning run at home, and a Bukayo Saka goal was enough for a 1-0 victory in Europa League Group A.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Whites, who currently occupy 14th spot in the table.

Mohamed Elneny

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Mohamed Elneny remains out for the long term with the serious hamstring injury that he suffered back in August, and the Egyptian midfielder will not see the pitch again until 2023.

Emile Smith Rowe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Emile Smith Rowe had been plagued by groin problems for months, and he has now undergone surgery to correct the issue, which will render him unavailable until December at the very earliest.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: October 16 (vs. Leeds)

Oleksandr Zinchenko was once again absent from the Arsenal squad for their trip to Norway due to his calf injury, and the left-back is still classed as a major doubt for the clash with Leeds.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: October 16 (vs. Leeds)

Gabriel Jesus did not take part in training before the Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt and was left at home for the contest, but his absence was fitness-related more than anything else, and he is expected to be back to lead the line this weekend.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
