Arsenal vow to help fans with travel for Manchester United trip

Arsenal vow to help fans with travel

Arsenal have revealed that the "club is exploring a number of options" to help supporters who intend to travel to Manchester United for their side's FA Cup quarter-final next month.

It was confirmed earlier today that for television coverage reasons, the tie had been moved to Monday, March 9, with the game getting underway at 7.45pm.

As a result, by the time of the final whistle, there will be no trains running out of Manchester to take fans back to London.

However, the Gunners have revealed that they will do all that they can to help out those that make the trip.

"In the wake of this announcement, the club is exploring a number of options to help our travelling supporters get back to London afterwards," read a statement on the club's official website.

"No return trains are currently timetabled and we will let supporters know the proposed travel plans as soon as possible."

Arsenal have not won at Old Trafford since September 2006.
