Top 25 Arsenal players of the Premier League era - #22

Sports Mole's countdown of the 25 greatest Arsenal players in the Premier League continues with number 22 - Alexis Sanchez.

One of only two members of the current Arsenal squad to be included in our countdown, Alexis Sanchez has already made his mark at the Emirates Stadium since joining from Barcelona in 2014.

A rare example of Arsene Wenger splashing the cash to bring in a proven talent, Sanchez has missed just 11 Premier League games in his three seasons at the club and has an impressive record of 53 goals in 103 league appearances.

The Chilean international hit the 30-goal mark in all competitions for the first time in his career during the 2016-17 campaign, and including European and cup competitions he has 72 goals in 145 Arsenal outings at the time of writing.

Silverware has been more scarce in that time than for a number of other players in this countdown, but Sanchez has still managed to win two FA Cup crowns at the Emirates Stadium and was named the PFA Fans' Player of the Year in 2015, as well as Arsenal's Player of the Season on two occasions.
