Arsenal have the improbable task of turning around a four-goal deficit when they take on AC Milan in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

Arsenal will have to pull off one of the most famous turnarounds in Champions League history on Tuesday when they take on AC Milan in the second leg of their last-16 tie at the Emirates Stadium.

The Italian giants thumped the Gunners 4-0 at the San Siro two weeks ago in what was manager Arsene Wenger's heaviest European defeat at the club.

Goals from Kevin-Prince Boateng, Zlatan Ibrahomovic and a Robinho brace forced Wenger to admit after the match that his side were all but out of the competition.

An early goal and the full support of their fans could be Arsenal's only hope if they are to take the improbable step of reaching the quarter-finals.

Kieran Gibbs and Yossi Benayoun are doubts for the hosts after they picked up knocks in Saturday's win at Liverpool. Mikel Arteta could feature despite a head injury during the match at Anfield, while Aaron Ramsey is still struggling with an ankle problem.

Alexandre Pato is expected to miss out for visitors, who could also be without Kevin-Prince Boateng and Clarence Seedorf.
