Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil available for Arsenal

Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil have been passed fit for Arsenal's Champions League opener against Marseille in France on Wednesday.

Striker Giroud had been a doubt for the match with a knee problem, while midfielder Ozil was suffering with an illness.

However, the pair trained with the squad on Tuesday before the Gunners' trip to France.

Meanwhile, defender Per Mertesacker is also available after missing Saturday's 3-1 win at Sunderland in the Premier League.
