Juan Sebastian Veron to retire at the end of the month?

Juan Sebastian Veron is to retire from football at the end of October, according to reports in Argentina.

The Estudiantes midfielder is apparently frustrated with the recurring ankle injury that has limited him to only a handful of appearances this season.

The 36-year-old's final game has been rumoured to be the fixture on the weekend of October 30 at home to Racing Club.

The ex-Argentina international's former clubs include Boca Juniors, Parma, Manchester United and Chelsea.
