Barcelona's Seydou Keita scored the winning goal for Mali to ensure their progression through to the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations this evening.

Opponents Botswana actually took an early lead in this encounter through Mogakolodi Ngele, who shot from distance past Oumar Sissoko.

However, Mail were soon level courtesy of a half-volley from Garra Dembele.

The winning goal came 15 minutes from time thanks to Keita, who exchanged passes with Cheick Diabate before chipping into the net.

Mali have joined group winners Ghana in the next round.
