Accrington Stanley sign striker James Alabi from Stoke City

League Two club Accrington Stanley have signed striker James Alabi on a one-month loan from Stoke City.

The 19-year-old has previously had loan spells at Scunthorpe United, Mansfield Town and Forest Green Rovers.

"We are pleased to have James on board," Stanley manager James Beattie told the official club website.

"He is a strong centre forward who will be a good addition to our squad."

Alabi, who has been assigned squad number 23, has been named on the bench for Stanley's opening League Two clash against Southend United this afternoon.
