AC Milan rival Manchester City for young Genoa goalkeeper?

AC Milan have reportedly emerged as rivals to Manchester City for Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin.

The 19-year-old has impressed while on loan with Pescara this season and the Rossoneri are now believed to be preparing an offer to co-own the player.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will offer Rossoblu £4m in exchange for 50% of Perin's contract.

Perin has won three caps for the Italian Under-21s and was called up to the senior side for August's friendly with England.
