AC Milan will reportedly attempt to keep Mathieu Flamini beyond the end of the current season by offering the Frenchman a new two-year contract.
The former Arsenal midfielder's current deal at the San Siro is due to expire in the summer and he recently hinted that he was considering his future at the club.
However, Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is hoping that he can convince the 27-year-old that the Rossoneri is the best club for him, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report has claimed that Flamini would have to accept a pay cut in order to extend his stay with the Red and Blacks.
Flamini joined Milan in 2008 from the Gunners.
