AC Milan remain in hunt for Barcelona defender Emerson?

AC Milan reportedly remain interested in securing a deal for Barcelona defender Emerson.

While the right-back has been at Real Betis since the beginning of 2019, a joint-ownership agreement means that the player is in line to represent Barcelona next season.

However, according to Todofichajes, the Brazil international is attracting strong interest from AC Milan.

The Serie A leaders are in the market for a long-term option at right-back, something which may lead to a permanent bid being made for Manchester United loanee Diogo Dalot in the summer.

Although the Premier League outfit may be open to a sale, Milan are aware that they must keep their options open during the coronavirus pandemic.

The report suggests that the Italian giants may be prepared to make an £18m bid for the 21-year-old.
