Arsenal face competition for German international

Italian champions AC Milan are ready to submit an offer for reported Arsenal target Lukas Podolski, according to talkSPORT.

The German international is thought to be seeking a new challenge following a two-year stint with FC Koln.

Arsenal have reportedly made contact with the Bundesliga club regarding the availability of the 26-year-old.

However, the Gunners will now face a challenge from Milan, who are said to be keen on signing Podolski whether or not they secure the addition of Carlos Tevez.
