Sunday's Serie A predictions including Napoli vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Serie A action, including Napoli vs. AC Milan.

Genoa vs. SPAL (Sunday, 4.15pm)

Two teams in desperate need of a win in Italy's top flight will lock horns at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon as Genoa welcome SPAL.

The home side are currently 18th in the table, one point behind 17th-placed Lecce, while SPAL are rock bottom of the division, nine points from safety with seven games left.

We say: Genoa 1-0 SPAL

There is simply no downplaying the importance of this match to both teams, and a defeat for SPAL could be terminal in terms of staying in the league. We are expecting a tight game but fancy Genoa to pick up a huge three points courtesy of a one-goal success.

Parma vs. Bologna (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Parma will be looking to end a run of four straight defeats in the Italian top flight when they welcome Bologna to the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Sunday.

The two clubs are separated by just two points in the table after 31 games, with Parma sitting in 12th while Bologna occupy 10th spot as things stand.

We say: Parma 1-2 Bologna

Parma need to turn their fortunes around lest they risk slipping further down the table, but they are now facing a Bologna side boasting an encouraging record on their travels, so we are expecting a narrow away victory in this mid-table clash.

Fiorentina vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Hellas Verona will endeavour to keep their slim hopes of Europa League qualification alive when they travel to Fiorentina in Sunday's Serie A clash.

In contrast, Fiorentina are eight points above the dotted line after 31 matches and still have work to do to secure their safety in the Italian top flight.

We say: Fiorentina 1-1 Hellas Verona

While Fiorentina's home form is nothing to write home about, Verona's record on their travels also leaves a lot to be desired. As a result, we are expecting the two sides to play out their second draws in succession on Sunday.

Cagliari vs. Lecce (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Lecce will be looking to build on a crucial midweek victory when they head to Cagliari in Sunday's Serie A clash at the Sardegna Arena.

The Giallorossi picked up a shock win over Lazio to move out of the relegation zone, while mid-table Cagliari were held by Fiorentina to make it three games without a win.

We say: Cagliari 2-2 Lecce

Lecce have plenty to play for in the final run-in and will see this as an opportunity to get another point on the board. Cagliari have lost momentum and have struggled for home wins in the second half of the campaign, so we are tipping this one to finish all square.

Udinese vs. Sampdoria (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Udinese will be looking to bring an end to their disappointing run of home form and climb up the Serie A table when they play host to Sampdoria on Sunday.

Despite a five-game winless run at the Dacia Arena, the Bianconeri are a comfortable eight points above the relegation zone, three points better off than Sampdoria.

We say: Udinese 1-1 Sampdoria

Both sides have been in decent form over the past couple of weeks, even if Sampdoria did lose their most recent match. The visitors can draw level on points with their opponents should they come out on top on Sunday, but were are tipping this one to finish level.

Napoli vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 8.45pm)

Two of Serie A's most in-form sides meet at Stadio San Paolo on Sunday evening as sixth-placed Napoli take on seventh-in-the-table AC Milan.

Napoli have won seven of their last eight league matches and are two points better off than Milan, who beat champions Juventus in midweek to maintain their European push.

We say: Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

Milan have been in great form since returning to action and further enhanced their top-seven credentials with their midweek victory against Juventus. However, Napoli also enter this match on a high and are unbeaten in their last 10 meetings with the Rossoneri, so we are backing them to edge this match.
