Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how AC Milan could line up for Sunday's Serie A showdown with Juventus.

With maximum points from their first three Serie A games, AC Milan travel to meet Juventus on Sunday without their star striker, but featuring a settled side.

Due to an Achilles injury, former Juve forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic - who scored on his comeback versus Lazio last week and, incidentally, turns 40 next month - will be unavailable to Stefano Pioli once again, so Olivier Giroud should start up front.

While Ante Rebic started against Liverpool in the 3-2 Champions League defeat, he is likely to make way for the France striker, who will be supported by Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao from out wide and Brahim Diaz in behind.

Midfielder Sandro Tonali, who has established himself as a regular starter in recent weeks, began on the bench in midweek, but is poised to replace Ismael Bennacer alongside Franck Kessie in the central pair of Pioli's favoured 4-2-3-1 formation.

In addition to Ibrahimovic, it is expected that Milan will also be without the services of Rade Krunic, plus summer signings Junior Messias and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The Rossoneri should have Fikayo Tomori partnering Simon Kjaer in the centre of defence, with Theo Hernandez at left-back. However, captain Davide Calabria is set to miss out, so the right-back slot remains up for grabs.

Alessio Romagnoli and the versatile Alessandro Florenzi are among the other options available to Pioli should he wish to make a personnel change, amid a hectic schedule at home and abroad.

AC Milan possible starting lineup: Maignan; Florenzi, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Giroud
