AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini has revealed that he is not too far away from a return to action following his injury.
Pazzini, who underwent knee surgery in May and has been recovering ever since, said that he cannot wait to get back onto the pitch to help the struggling Milan side.
"I'm happy to be back training with the team as that's completely different to working out by yourself," he told the club's official website. "I still have a bit more to do but I'm working to get back as soon as possible and in the best shape possible.
"It's been tough being out, it really wasn't easy. It hasn't been a good start to the season but now we have these two wins which give us some consistency. Now we have to keep on working and keep on winning.
"When you're out, you really miss it all: training with your team mates, the changing room, the matches, everything. Now I'm close to getting back completely and everything's going well."
Pazzini joined the club from city rivals Inter Milan last season.
