AC Milan striker M'Baye Niang has expressed his delight after helping the club to a 4-1 win over Sampdoria on Saturday evening.
The 20-year-old scored his first two goals of the season for the Rossoneri as they earned a comfortable victory to move them up to fifth place in the Serie A table.
"I am very happy because I've been waiting for this moment," Niang told Premium Sport.
"All of the hard work has paid off and I hope to continue performing like this. We had to adapt to the formation and we were good today.
"I played the role that I like most at centre forward, and I think we put in the most beautiful game we could."
Milan are back in action on Tuesday evening with a Coppa Italia fourth-round tie against Serie B high-flyers Crotone.
