Mario Balotelli quells exit rumours

Mario Balotelli denies that he will leave AC Milan this month.

Mario Balotelli has insisted that he will not leave AC Milan in the January transfer window.

It has been widely reported that the Italian international is keen to depart the Serie A side just one year after making the move from Manchester City.

However, the 23-year-old, who has scored nine times in all competitions this season, has quelled suggestions that he could leave the San Siro this month.

"I am staying at Milan. I have to get ready for the World Cup and stay calm," he told Chi.

Milan currently sit 11th in Serie A following a disappointing start to the season.
