Half-Time Report: Goalless between AC Milan, Atalanta BC in Serie A clash

Neither side have been able to find a breakthrough in the first half of the Serie A clash between AC Milan and Atalanta BC.

The visitors were the first to threaten when Alejandro Gomez carved out space for a strike in the final third, but he could only pull his effort wide of the post.

Milan hit back as they broke down the right and a cross found Carlos Bacca at the back post, and the striker cut onto his right foot, but saw his effort blocked by Gabriel Paletta.

Mattia De Sciglio gave away a free kick in a dangerous position and Atalanta almost capitalised as Gomez tried to fire a low ball into the path of Mauricio Pinilla, but Gianluigi Donnarumma made the save at his near post.

The home side nearly caught the visitors out at the back when Mbaye Niang got the better of Cristian Raimondi down the left, and the 20-year-old cut back to fire a low strike at goal, but Marco Sportiello made the save.
