Chelsea are prepared to part ways with four home-grown players this summer in order to retain Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain-linked defender Levi Colwill, according to a report.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season during his loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion last term, making 22 appearances for the Seagulls, who achieved their best-ever Premier League finish of sixth.

Following three transfer windows marked by significant spending amounting to over £1bn, the Blues must now authorise player sales to adhere to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability (PSR) regulations.

The most effective approach to achieving this is by offloading home-grown talents, as their sales can be recorded as pure profit in the club's financial accounts.

Arsenal are leading the race ahead of both Manchester City and Manchester United to sign Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Kaoru Mitoma this summer, according to a report.

In the past year, Mitoma has emerged as one of the Premier League's standout wingers, and his success is a testament to Brighton's effective scouting network.

Despite contending with fitness setbacks that restricted him to 2,067 minutes over 26 appearances this season, Mitoma's performances have garnered significant attention from some of the Premier League giants ahead of the summer transfer market.

Man United centre-back wanted by Turkish giants?

Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof is reportedly being linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford this summer, with Galatasaray showing apparent interest.

While the 29-year-old defender has been a pivotal figure for Manchester United over the last few seasons, it is reported that he is not a part of the future plans of new part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Since joining United from Benfica in 2017, the Sweden international has amassed 258 appearances, netting four goals, and contributing seven assists in that time.

However, his involvement in the current Premier League campaign has been limited to just 14 starts, as he has been hampered by injuries throughout the season.

Tottenham make U-turn on Giovani Lo Celso exit decision?

Tottenham Hotspur could supposedly make a surprise U-turn on their decision to accept offers for out-of-favour midfielder Giovani Lo Celso this summer.

The Argentina international returned to North London for pre-season on the back of an 18-month loan with Villarreal, helping the Yellow Submarine reach the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2021-22.

Lo Celso was heavily linked with a permanent move away from the Lilywhites in 2023, but he was given the chance to prove himself under Ange Postecoglou and ultimately stayed put.

A similar story arose in the January transfer window, by which point Lo Celso had failed to reignite his Tottenham career, and Barcelona were apparently showing interest in a mid-season deal.

Tottenham considering Albert Gudmundsson swap deal?

Tottenham Hotspur could supposedly try to steal a march on their rivals in the race for Genoa's Albert Gudmundsson by proposing a swap deal for the Icelandic striker.

Gudmundsson has been a shining light for Genoa during their first campaign back in the top flight, coming up with 15 goals and four assists in 33 matches in all tournaments.

With 13 strikes in top-flight action, the 26-year-old has bettered his 11-goal tally from Genoa's promotion-winning Serie B campaign last term and has found success in a handful of positions this season.

As well as operating at the tip of the Genoa attack, Gudmundsson has been deployed in a false nine position and - more recently - in a midfield role, while he also has 10 efforts to show from 36 caps for Iceland.

Liverpool 'send scouts to watch Arsenal-linked striker'

Liverpool have reportedly deployed scouts to keep an eye on a prolific Primeira Liga centre-forward also wanted by Arsenal.

Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres has taken the Portuguese top flight by storm since arriving from Coventry City last summer, sitting on a staggering 38 goals across all competitions.

Twenty-four of the Swede's strikes have come in 29 Primeira Liga matches, in addition to supplying 10 assists, as Ruben Amorim's side close in on the title.

From 45 matches across all competitions, Gyokeres has remarkably had a hand in 54 goals - 38 of his own and 16 assists - and he is currently on course to win the Primeira Liga Golden Boot.

Liverpool midfielder 'not considering summer exit'

Liverpool's Cody Gakpo celebrates scoring their second goal with Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch on February 21, 2024

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch reportedly has no desire to depart Anfield during the summer transfer window.

The Netherlands international has endured a frustrating period in his career, initially at Bayern Munich where he was barely used by either Julian Nagelsmann or Thomas Tuchel.

That subsequently led to Liverpool being able to agree a deal with the German giants for €40m, giving the 21-year-old an opportunity to kick-start his career.

To a certain extent, that is what has materialised, Gravenberch being used on 34 occasions by Jurgen Klopp across all competitions this season.
