Sporting Lisbon sign Danijel Pranjic from Bayern Munich

Sporting Lisbon have announced that they have completed the signing of Danijel Pranjic from Bayern Munich.

Pranjic joins Sporting on a three-year deal in a move announced on the Portuguese club's official website this afternoon.

The 30-year-old spent three years in Munich but found playing opportunities tough to come by last season in a star-studded Bayern midfield.

Pranjic will hope that the move can help him win back a starting place for Croatia, having been restricted to substitute appearances against Spain and Italy at Euro 2012.
