San Antonio Spurs land JaMychal Green following promising Summer League efforts

The San Antonio Spurs have announced the signing of rising forward JaMychal Green.

Green has been under the watch of the Spurs for some time, with the player featuring for the side's Summer League team having previously starred in the French Pro A League.

Last season in Europe, the former Austin Toros player collected an average of 11.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 22.1 minutes across 25 fixtures.

Despite the terms of the deal not being disclosed, it is thought that Green will provide competition for the likes of Boris Diaw and Austin Daye.
