Gregg Popovich "disappointed" by San Antonio Spurs defeat

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich says that he is "disappointed" by the team's defeat to the Brooklyn Nets.

Gregg Popovich has admitted that he was "disappointed" by the San Antonio Spurs' defeat to the Brooklyn Nets last night.

The Western Conference side were missing the top four scorers through injury as they slipped to a 103-89 defeat.

The coach told reporters: "I know we didn't look pretty. I'm more interested in results than how we look. So I thought they performed well.

"I'm disappointed we didn't win. I'm thinking we make a couple of threes in the second half and we hang right in there, and that's the way you've got to look at it."

The Spurs face the Chicago Bulls tomorrow.
