The San Antonio Spurs have announced that Sean Marks is joining the team's assistant coaching staff.
The former Spurs center has spent the last two seasons as the club's director of basketball, but will move to the bench for the 2013-14 campaign.
Marks played for the team from 2003 to 2006 and won the NBA Finals in 2005.
The Spurs play Moscow in their first pre-season game on October 9.
