Kenyon Martin: 'New York Knicks wanted revenge'

Kenyon Martin has said that the New York Knicks were seeking revenge when they played the Boston Celtics last night.

The Celtics beat their Atlantic Division rivals by 41 points last time the sides met at Madison Square Garden, but the Knicks were able to secure a 114-88 win yesterday evening.

The forward told reporters: "Today's game in particular, it was kind of personal, you know what I'm saying, the way they beat us the last time we played them. So we wanted a little get-back."

The result gives the Knicks an 18-27 record this season, leaving the team just outside the playoffs places.
