Andrea Bargnani has no return date

New York Knicks star Andrea Bargnani has revealed that he has no timeline on his injured elbow after describing it as "terrible".

The Italian was speaking for the first time since suffering the injury and insisted that he didn't want to commit to a return date.

"I have no idea. It's a ligament and you see how it heals and how strong the arm gets. You got to make sure it's 100%. I really don't know the timeline," he said, the New York Post reports.

According to the report, an elbow surgeon has suggested that it will take between three to six weeks to fully recover without surgery.
