Chicago Bulls come from behind to beat Miami Heat

Bulls come from behind to beat Heat

The Chicago Bulls have overturned a big half-time deficit to secure an 89-78 victory over the Miami Heat at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Derrick Rose looked sharp as he continued his comeback, making three field goals inside the first two minutes in his second game since returning from knee surgery, but it was Miami who soon took control early on.

Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic got the home side off to a bright start as they dominated the second quarter to open up a 51-32 lead by half time.

The Bulls came out fighting though, wiping out the Heat's lead before the end of the third quarter after scoring the first 11 points after the interval.

Pau Gasol led the charge with 16 for Chicago, while Aaron Brooks and Taj Gibson each added 14 to hand the visitors the lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The win moves the Bulls up to third in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Heat sit a win outside the playoff places with just three games remaining.
