Rick Carlisle: 'LeBron James was too good'

Rick Carlisle has said that LeBron James was "great" during the Miami Heat's win over the Dallas Mavericks.

The forward scored 42 for the defending NBA champions in their 117-106 win over the Mavericks last night.

The Dallas coach told reporters: "He is great and we know he is great. He scored a bundle of points on us last time and he was even better tonight.

"We played hard the whole night. We tried to keep it going and get some traction, but we had some untimely struggles. Let's put it that way."

The victory was the Heat's second of the season over the Mavericks.
