Steph Curry sets NBA record as Golden State Warriors beat Brooklyn Nets

Steph Curry set an NBA record with his seven three-pointers as the Golden State Warriors beat the Brooklyn Nets 120-114.

The star shooter racked up 35 points as he claimed at least five three-pointers in the seventh game on the trot, surpassing the previous best streak of six games set by the Dallas Mavericks’ George McCloud in 1995-96.

Kevin Durant added 34 for the Warriors, who have now won four in a row.

Russell Westbrook and Paul George scored 23 points apiece as Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Phoenix Suns 117-110.

Oklahoma’s first victory of the season leaves the Cleveland Cavaliers as the sole team without a win so far.

Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Washington Wizards 136-104 and the Dallas Mavericks suffered a 113-104 defeat to the Utah Jazz.
