The Golden State Warriors have confirmed that Harrison Barnes will miss at least the first two games of the new NBA season with a foot injury.
The small forward has been rested since the second game of the pre-season with a left foot inflammation.
Barnes started 81 games for the Warriors in his rookie season, averaging 9.2 points per game.
The Warriors play the Los Angeles Lakers later today.
