Denver Nuggets confirm Jameer Nelson re-signing on multi-year deal

The Denver Nuggets have confirmed that they have re-signed point guard Jameer Nelson.

The 33-year-old was allowed to leave the club at the end of the 2014-15 season after playing primarily as a backup behind Ty Lawson.

However, the Nuggets have opted to bring Nelson back into the fold on a multi-year deal to add experience to their roster, while they have also agreed deals for Darrell Arthur and Will Barton.

The point guard averaged 8.3 points per game for Michael Malone's men last season.
