Lawson hits out at Nuggets GM, owners

Houston Rockets point guard Ty Lawson has blasted Denver Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly, owner Stan Kroenke and president Josh Kroenke.

The 27-year-old was traded to the Rockets earlier this year after he was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol, which was his second arrest of 2015.

Josh Kroenke claimed following the deal that Lawson used to turn up to practice smelling of alcohol, but Lawson has now hit back on his Instagram page after a user claimed that he was a disappointment in his time at Denver.

Lawson said in his reply: "Lol I wasn't a disappointment.... I did my job.. Tim Connelly and the Kroenke are bad owners and gm's."

He continued: "I'm happy af I'm a rocket."

Lawson averaged 15.2 points per game for the Nuggets in 75 games last season.
