Jonny Wilkinson is to start against France in England's World Cup quarter-final on Saturday, according to BBC Sport.
The 32-year-old had been suffering from an arm injury, but a return to full fitness will see him begin the match as fly-half ahead of Toby Flood.
Meanwhile, Mark Cueto is expected to replace the suspended Delon Armitage on the left wing.
England were victorious the last time the two sides met in the Six Nations in February.
