Outgoing Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini has been honoured with a permanent reminder of his achievements in Southern Spain after a roundabout was named after him outside the club's La Rosaleda stadium.
Pellegrini has enjoyed three memorable seasons in charge of Malaga, leading the club into the Champions League for the first time in their history.
Earlier today the local government authority the Comision de Calles del Ayuntamiento de la capital Malaguena confirmed that they will rename a roundabout after the Chilean tactician.
An official ceremony to rename the roundabout will take place next week following Pellegrini's last game in charge against Barcelona.
The 59-year-old will be a free agent on June 2 and has been heavily linked with the vacant managerial post at Manchester City.
