The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Tottenham Hotspur eye possible reinforcements.
Spurs were among the biggest spenders during the January transfer window but are expected to be active again in the summer as Jose Mourinho continues to mould his squad.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Thursday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:
Jose Mourinho 'wants to bring Gareth Bale back to Tottenham Hotspur'
Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly determined to sign Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale during this summer's transfer window.
Bale was restricted to just 20 appearances for Madrid during the 2019-20 campaign, while he hardly featured after the restart in June and told head coach Zinedine Zidane to leave him out of their trip to Manchester City in the Champions League earlier this month.
The 31-year-old is allegedly prepared to see out the final two years of his lucrative contract at the Bernabeu even if it means that he does not represent the club again.
However, Spanish football expert Alvaro Montero recently claimed that the Wales international was keen on a return to the Premier League.
According to Cuatro, Zidane is desperate to offload the attacker this summer, and he could be offered a return to Tottenham by Mourinho, who is determined to secure his signature.
Bale started his professional career with Southampton before joining Spurs, representing the London giants on 203 occasions between 2007 and 2013, scoring 55 times in the process.
The former left-back scored just twice in 16 La Liga appearances during the 2019-20 season, playing only a minor role in the team's title success.
Arsenal to sign former Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jonathan Dinzeyi?
Arsenal have reportedly moved to complete a deal to sign former Tottenham Hotspur defender Jonathan Dinzeyi.
After failing to break into the first-team setup at Spurs, the 20-year-old was subsequently released at the end of his contract.
However, according to The Athletic, North London rivals Arsenal have made a surprise bid for the youngster.
The Gunners are keen to boost the numbers in their Under-23s setup, which has also led to offers being made for fellow starlets George Lewis and Tim Akinola.
Dinzayi left Spurs having made a total of 63 appearances for their Under-18s and Under-23s sides, which included four outings in the EFL Trophy.
