Preview: Cardiff City vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole takes a look at this Sunday's Premier League clash between Cardiff City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Cardiff City can maintain their unbeaten home run in the Premier League by grabbing all three points from Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Welsh side have already managed to upset former English champions Manchester City by nabbing a 3-2 victory on home turf last month, and they have only recorded one defeat in their first four fixtures.

Two draws make up the campaign so far for Malky Mackay's side, while Tottenham head into the match after their Europa League excursions, which resulted in a 3-0 win over Tromso.

In the league, Andre Villas-Boas's men have been on a winning run minus their North London derby 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, but they bounced back with a victory over Norwich City.

Goalkeeper David Marshall could return to the fold for Cardiff following a hip injury, which kept him out of the Welsh side's 1-1 draw with Hull City last weekend.

For the visiting side, Villas-Boas is expected to be without full-back Danny Rose, who picked up an ankle injury during their Europa League encounter, while Mousa Dembele should keep his place in the team, despite getting a knock in midweek.

Despite Jermain Defoe's brace in Europe, Roberto Soldado could be given the nod ahead of his fellow striker for the trip to Cardiff.
