Sassuolo are reportedly on the verge of completing a deal to sign Jeremie Boga from Chelsea this summer.
Boga joined Chelsea as a youth player in 2009 before being promoted to the senior team in 2015, but he has made just one senior appearance for the club.
The 21-year-old has spent the past three years out on loan with Rennes, Granada and Birmingham City respectively, and Chelsea were reportedly hoping that they could offload the midfielder on a temporary basis once again.
However, Boga is thought to want a permanent move away in order to aid his development, and Goal.com reports that Chelsea have now agreed a £3.5m fee with Italian outfit Sassuolo.
The deal is understood to include a buy-back clause, although Boga must first agree personal terms with the Serie A side.
The likes of Lille, Celta Vigo and Real Betis are also thought to be monitoring Boga's situation at Stamford Bridge.
