Barcelona have set their sights on signing Kylian Mbappe, according to a report.
The 22-year-old was close to moving to Real Madrid in the summer, but Paris Saint-Germain rejected a bid from the Spanish side.
Nonetheless, Mbappe remains keen to leave the French capital and his contract with the Ligue 1 club expires at the end of the season.
According to AS, Barca are keen to convince the striker to move to the Camp Nou instead of the Bernabeu and are willing to offer a higher wage than their La Liga counterparts.
The report adds that although PSG would not demand a transfer fee due to Mbappe's contract expiry, a one-off figure would still be payable to the Frenchman and his representatives.
Despite their financial problems, Barca are reportedly ready to offer €90m (£76m), whereas Real Madrid are only willing to pay €50m (£42m).
