First-half strikes from Carlos Hernandez and Stein Huysegems handed the visitors a 2-1 half-time lead, with Craig Goodwin briefly leveling matters.

However, the 22-year-old pounced just two minutes after the restart to restore parity once again, only for Jason Hicks to re-establish Phoenix's lead with 20 minutes of normal time remaining.

There would be no comeback this time as Ernie Merrick's men retained their advantage to move sixth in the standings.
