Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that he plans to keep Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford next season.
After a hugely disappointing 18-month period with United, Sanchez was loaned out to Inter Milan last summer in a bid to rediscover his best form.
Due to an injury sustained during the early weeks of his stint at the San Siro, the 31-year-old has been restricted to just three starts and four substitute outings in all competitions.
However, despite his lack of game time, Solskjaer has seemingly backed up a recent report which suggests that the Chile international is due back at United next season.
At a press conference, Solskjaer told reporters: "Alexis will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong."
Sanchez has two-and-a-half years remaining on his United contract.
