Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly in line to win the battle to retain the services of defender Ben White.
Ever since returning from a successful loan period at Leeds United, the centre-back has been heavily linked with a big-money move to a high-profile club.
However, despite Leeds wishing to sign the Englishman on a permanent basis, the Seagulls have no intention of selling to a direct Premier League rival.
According to The Sun, that stance is likely to result in the 22-year-old spending the next campaign at the Amex Stadium.
The report suggests that the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea are not planning to meet Brighton's valuation, said to be in excess of £25m.
White still has two years remaining on his contract, effectively leaving Brighton in a position where they can wait until next summer before making a decision on the player's future.
